JASPER CENTRE

The Jasper Cultural Centre is located on the main street of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. It was built as the town's school, Jasper Street School, in 1910 and educated hundreds of local students until 1986. The building was constructed with locally-made bricks and the interiors still have the original molded-tin ceilings and hardwood floors.

The Museum has developed themed rooms where visitors can view an actual railway station house, or a one-room school house, or a collection of C.M.Russel's saddles and artwork. More....

Stop in for a visit any time Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5:00 (summer hours) or Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:00 - 5:00 or by appointment (winter hours).
