Emergency Medical Services are traditionally ambulance services; however, encompass a broader perspective. EMS services are provided by well trained staff and have grown out of a true example of voluntarism. The services across the Southwest district have worked together to develop common policies for operations with a consistent fee for service; equality in payment of staff and consistent management/supervisory mechanisms.

The Maple Creek EMS have two units operating out of a new garage building with office space and owned by the District.
