Rodeo and roping are very popular in Maple Creek. People of all ages enjoy being members of the Maple Creek Roping Club. The club meets approximately 5 times from June until August and members can take part in the following events:

Barrel Racing Jr./Sr. Team Roping Open Team Roping Oldtimer's Team Roping Pole Bending Jr. Breakaway Roping Dummy Roping Calf Scramble Steer Riding

We also have an evening roping club that ropes Thursday evenings through the summer.

The Ag. Society holds ropings with rough stock events as well.
