Maple Creek Fire Department responds to 911 calls year round, fighting fires and rescuing accident victims. The department has many devoted members ranging from their early twenties into their eighties.

The department has three fire trucks and one rescue van equipped with the jaws of life. The fire fighters are trained to use the jaws of life for responding to accidents.
